The Upper School Curriculum
Typically, students at RMS will take between 8 and 10 GCSE or equivalent subjects. At RMS our focus is on
quality rather than quantity of subjects covered. Our aim is to support students in achieving the highest
possible grades in each subject.
Core Subjects
GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, double or triple Science (choice of courses).
Citizenship, Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education are taught through the weekly PDL lesson. In
addition, students receive two lessons of PE per week.
