School Uniform (continued)
Year 7 - 10 Option B
Skirt
Green with black and white check kilt style skirt*. This should not be rolled
up at the waist.
Trousers
Tradition formal plain black straight leg long school trousers; no jeans,
‘skinny style’, fashion designs, leggings/jeggings.
Shorts
(optional)
Plain black tailored shorts, with a length that stops just about the knee.
These can be worn from Easter to October half term.
Blouse
Plain white with a collar, long or short sleeves. Please ensure that the collar
is large enough for the top button to be done up comfortably. Green polo
shirts with RMS Logo* can be worn in the summer term.
Pullover
Jumper
Plain stitch bottle green ‘V’ neck with RMS logo*.
Socks /
Tights
Plain black ankle socks or plain black / flesh coloured (not footless) tights.
Shoes
Sensible black (not suede), suitable for school wear, maximum heel height
5cms. Must be able to take polish. This excludes boots, trainers, canvas
shoes, platform or high-heeled shoes.
Coats
Plain coat which fits in locker. No denim, leather/suede, sweatshirts,
tracksuit tops or hoodies.
Year 11 Option B

Shirt
Plain white, as above. Black polo shirts with RMS logo* can be worn in the
Summer term.
School Tie
Black and silver tie*.

Makeup
The only acceptable jewellery in school is one small pair of metal stud earrings. If your
child is having an additional piercings over the summer, you must ensure that this has
healed in good time for the return to school. No other facial or body piercings or jewellery
are allowed. Students will be asked to remove any incorrect jewllery and/or piercings,
items may be confiscated.
Long hair to be tied back for PE and practical subjects for safety. Students should not
wear makeup that is obvious to the eye. Students will be asked to remove makeup if it is
noticeable. No false or semi permanent eyelashes. Students must not wear coloured nail
varnish, and will be asked to remove gel or acrylic nails. Students should not dye their hair
in extreme colours such as bright blue, pink, green, etc.
